Looking back to Prarie-inspired furniture, we designed the bedroom with attention to detail and old-world craftsmanship. Made from Knotty White Oak and Flaky Oak veneers and Rubberwood solids, it is finished with a Sherwin Williams Fieldstone finish. The multiple-stepped finish has a Warm under tone and a black glaze that enhances the natural wood characteristics. The Veneers are 1.0mm thick, which is more the three times furniture veneers used today. This allows our artisans to simulate the plank effects and show off the bowtie joinery that was used centuries ago hold planks together.
The Panel Bed is designed with raised and exposed bowties that span the planking of the headboard and footboard. A generous top rail is softened on the edges.
The Shelter Bed features padded fabric on the headboard and footboard and is trimmed out with exposed wood trim and spaced nail head detailing.
Our casegoods, while traditional in design, are modern in function. Soft bead trim surrounds the drawers and end panels are trimmed and framed. All drawers are made with ½” plywood drawer boxes and ¼” thick oak veneer drawer bottoms. Drawers are fully-finished in a UV coating for a smooth and durable interior. All casegood drawers use 12” soft-close and under-mounted glides.
The Dresser features 8 drawers for storage and we added a jewelry tray in one drawer.
The optional Dresser Hutch has 2 additional drawers and a large top surface to allow a TV to sit atop the dresser and a perfect viewing height. The Nightstand has two drawers and we added wireless charging and USB (A & C ports) to the back for charging other devices. The Drawer Chest features 5 drawers for storage.
