Clean and casual-contemporary is the best description for Matrix. We used loose Quartered white Ash veneers and Poplar solids to make the product. The veneers are all book-matched for the headboard and drawer fronts. After laying up the drawer front panel in a “X” pattern, we then cut the drawers from the panel. Thru the manufacturing process, all parts have to stay together. If one drawer front gets damaged, we have to start all over. This is to keep the veneer grain, matched, seamlessly, from panel to panel. Sherwin Williams finished the group in a “Cerused Linen” finish with low sheen top-coats. The Black-glazed Nickel finger pulls are sleek and do not distract your vision of the “X” pattern veneering.

  The Bed features a Storage footboard with 16” deep drawers; perfect for holding bedding, extra pillows or off-season clothing. The headboard also has a X-pattern to the veneering while the footboard has a reversed V-match, like you see in the lower drawers of the dresser and chest.

  The Dresser is moderate at 66” but has (6) deep drawers for storage. The top right drawer has a jewelry tray. You will notice the offset with a narrow bank of drawers to the left and the wider drawers to the right. We added a 5-Drawer chest and a functional Nightstand with 2-drawers and a wireless charging device mounted under the veneer top. A USB port on the back allows for charging a tablet or other device. The lower drawers of Dresser and Drawer Chest, as well as the Storage Footboard, have an aromatic cedar bottom. All drawers are made with ½” drawer boxes and English dovetail construction. The 45mm full-extension slides offer the best, smooth-glides available in furniture.
