Tally's Crossing Dining

Known for little more than a volunteer Fire department, Talley’s Crossing is a small community of friends and family that cherish “living, country-style”. The scale of product is weighty and details emerge from every part of the designs; pronounced parting rails, chaser-pattern drawer and door framing, (side panels even have a center rail for a touch of Prairie-styled designs) and parquetry floor patterns used for doors and tops.

Made of Hickory veneers and Poplar solids, we hand-rubbed the glazes to enhance the grain of the veneers and finish in a Rustic Hickory finish from Sherwin Williams. The long blade-bar pulls are sleek and are finished in antiqued brass. Our Dining Table features the parquetry veneer top and extends from 76-96 with 1-20” leaf. We kept the table top thick and use an equalizing ball bearing slide that uses a cable to pull both sides while the base remains in place. The Dining chairs are designed with multiple curved-splats and have an oat-toned fabric that is trimmed with nail heads.

The generous 68” Sideboard has 2 large top drawers for storage, with a silver tray in the right drawer. Behind the doors, you will find a wide shelf on each side for storing bulky items and the reversible shelf has beveled slats to hold wine bottles in place. All drawers are made with solid wood drawer boxes and English dovetail construction. The 45mm full-extension slides offer the best, smooth-glides available in furniture.
